About Weedth

My name is Alex Buck, the founder and author of Weedth. I have cultivated cannabis since 2012. In 2020, I began approaching cultivation research in a more structured way by combining scientific literature, careful observation, practical testing, and the lessons gathered from each grow.

The subjects covered on Weedth often begin with real questions from growers. These questions reach me through Facebook, email, the Weedth contact form, and conversations within the growing community. I use them to identify the problems growers actually face, not simply the subjects that happen to be popular in search results.

When preparing an article, I combine my own cultivation experience with relevant peer-reviewed studies, university publications, agricultural research, scientific papers, and other credible technical sources. Scientific evidence, practical experience, personal observation, and unresolved questions are kept clearly separate. When a reliable source supports an important claim, that source is cited so readers can examine the evidence themselves.

Why Weedth Exists

I created Weedth because cannabis cultivation is surrounded by misinformation, shortcuts, exaggerated product claims, and marketing designed to make growers believe that expensive equipment automatically produces better results.

I fell into some of those traps when I first started. Sometimes it happened because I was impatient. More often, it happened because I did not yet have enough reliable information to separate a useful product from a convincing sales pitch.

Experience taught me that successful cultivation is not about forcing the plant to move faster. It is about understanding the plant’s natural development, respecting every stage of its life cycle, observing carefully, and maintaining consistent standards from seed to harvest.

A larger budget does not guarantee a better harvest. A grower can spend $1,000 on an indoor system and still lose seedlings before the grow properly begins. Plants can become stressed, enter flowering too early, or reach harvest only to produce disappointing aroma, flavor, and flower quality.

Equipment cannot replace knowledge, observation, patience, and a clear cultivation plan. Marketers are responsible for selling products. They are not responsible for your final result.

As my knowledge improved, I stopped spending money on products that did not solve a real problem. I learned how to achieve productive outdoor harvests within a modest budget by concentrating on root-zone quality, plant health, timing, environmental conditions, and consistent care. Indoor cultivation became another world of learning, where close observation taught me how to recognize what a plant needs before a small problem becomes a serious one.
