Calculate a liquid nutrient dose

Enter the finished reservoir volume and the product’s stated dose in milliliters per liter. If your reservoir is measured in US gallons, the calculator converts it to liters before multiplying by the dose.

A 20-liter reservoir at 2 milliliters per liter requires 40 milliliters of concentrate. The tool also provides an approximate US fluid-ounce value.

Use the correct product rate

This calculator performs volume arithmetic only. Obtain the dose from the current manufacturer label or feeding chart for the specific product, crop stage, and growing system. Different bottles in a multi-part program must be calculated separately. Do not add their rates together before measuring each component.

Safe and consistent mixing

Fill the reservoir with most of the water first, measure each product accurately, and mix thoroughly between additions. Never mix concentrated products directly with one another unless the manufacturer explicitly instructs it. Wear the protective equipment specified on the label and keep concentrates away from children and pets.

Verify the finished solution

• Calibrate measuring tools and EC and pH meters.
• Check source-water EC before adding nutrients.
• Measure final EC or PPM after mixing.
• Adjust pH only after following the product sequence.
• Record the recipe and plant response.

The result is not a feeding recommendation. It only converts a user-selected label rate into a total liquid volume.
